Hot rodent men. What new trend has taken over the web and which stars have already been compared to animals

The trend of comparing people to animals is becoming more and more widespread on the Internet. This year, social media users created a new term "hot rodent men," which is actively used to describe famous stars.

This "title" was given to guys whose appearance looks a bit like cartoon rats or mice. Their main characteristics are slender body, straight facial features, prominent ears, pale skin and deep-set eyes, Euronews writes.

The Internet trend started with a few small posts comparing the American actor Mike Feist to a dormouse. Later, netizens began to offer various analogies to the appearance of the "Rivals" actor, drawing a parallel between the artist's face and cartoon characters: Despereaux and Stuart Little, CNN editors said.

The wave of comparisons has reached other stars, such as: Josh O'Connor, Barry Keoghan, Jeremy Allen White, Timothy Chalamet, and Glen Powell. In fact, most actors whose appearance differs from the usual Hollywood type, but attracts attention, have been awarded the title of "hot rodent man."

"That's why the Internet is a great place," Glen Powell said ironically, after the first comparisons of his appearance to rodents. "Now I'm really okay with being compared to a capybara. I am a capybara."
