He was only 44: Euphoria producer Kevin Turen died unexpectedly. This is the second death on the project in a year

Kevin Turen, producer of the popular HBO drama series Euphoria, died unexpectedly at the age of 44. The cause of his death has not yet been disclosed.

The producer is survived by his wife Evelina and two sons, Jack and James. Kevin Touraine's death was confirmed by his parents, Deadline writes (scroll to the bottom of the page to see the photo).

"Kevin was so incredibly special that this world will be a smaller place without him," said the producer's father.

Turen was born in New York City on August 16, 1979. He decided to pursue a career in film after high school, so he went to Columbia University to study the profession. Later, Kevin Turen moved to Los Angeles and became in demand in Hollywood.

He produced the films Malcolm and Marie, The Waves, Arbitrage, The Birth of a Nation, Fragments of a Woman, 99 Homes, and the X-Men trilogy. In addition, the producer had a hand in the creation of such well-known series as the aforementioned Euphoria, Idol, Irma Vep, etc.

In a statement, his friends said that Kevin loved only his family and friends more than work.

"Despite his many achievements in Hollywood, Kevin's main passion was his family and friends. He was very proud of his children. He and his wife, Evelina, were determined that their children would grow up with high values and were confident that they would make a difference in the world. Kevin will be greatly missed, and today this city has lost one of its brightest rising stars," said a close friend of the producer.

This is the second tragic loss on a project that has won millions of hearts. Just three months ago, the Euphoria crew mourned the loss of 25-year-old actor Angus Cloud, who played Fesco.

At first, the cause of his death was not reported to journalists and fans, but later the police confirmed that the actor died of "a lethal combination of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine and other substances, believed to be an accidental overdose."

As OBOZ.UA wrote earlier, the heart of Anatoliy Vasyanovych, a prominent Ukrainian TV presenter, announcer, actor and honored journalist of Ukraine, stopped beating at the age of 81. He died on November 1 in the German city of Wiesbaden.
