EL Kravchuk discloses his real name in his passport
Ukrainian singer EL Kravchuk, who became a star of the national scene in the 90s, has disclosed his real name in his passport. The 47-year-old artist has a double surname, and his full name is Andrii Viktorovych Ostapenko-Kravchuk.
He told about this in an interview on Slava Demin's YouTube channel. The star admitted that at the beginning of his career, his parents did not like the fact that he performed under a pseudonym, nor most of his songs in general.
"I have half of my passport from my mom and half from my dad. I am Andrii Viktorovych Ostapenko-Kravchuk. My father only had questions: "Why is it my mother's name in the pseudonym, not mine?" the artist said.
According to the celebrity, when he started performing in front of the public as EL Kravchuk, he realized that this stage name suited him perfectly. He "put an end to" the search for the perfect pseudonym. Over time, the negative attitude of the singer's mother and father began to change for the better.

"At first, my parents reacted negatively to everything. They didn't like anything, not a song, not anything. Then my mom liked "Sonata" and my dad liked "Nobody." They came to the concert and saw that everything was calm. The press was writing then, and there was no Internet when I started," Kravchuk told EL.
