A dispute erupted between Dominican actress Massiel Taveras and a security guard at the Cannes Film Festival because the latter was preventing photographers from taking a picture of the black star. She prevented the actress from unwrapping her dress with a long train depicting Jesus Christ.
This situation angered the Dominican, so she first cursed at the guard and then pushed her. The footage that spread online shows Taveras ignoring any instructions from the film festival worker and barely untangling the long train of her dress and throwing it down the stairs.
At first, several employees tried to help the actress "disassemble" the dress, and she, in turn, raised her arms to attract the attention of fans. However, the arm of one of the employees, which was outstretched to the side and did not allow the actress to be photographed properly, made the Dominican very angry, and she threw the train down in frustration.
This situation angered the Dominican woman.

This was the reason why Taveras pushed the worker away from her and wagged her finger as if trying to intimidate her.

At that time, the employee was suspected of racism, but her colleagues stood up for the woman and said that she was just doing her job.
