A Belarusian woman tried to justify her attack on a Ukrainian woman at Miss Europe, but only confirmed that Milena Melnychuk did everything right
Miss Europe beauty contestant Irina Maksimovich from Vitebsk, Belarus, seems to have sobered up after a road trip during which she insulted Ukraine and Ukrainian contestant Milena Melnychuk and recorded an appeal to her haters. The contestant didn't like listening to the news with explosions, which the Ukrainian turned on during the competition.
The aggressive Belarusian woman claimed that she was "defending herself and her country," from which murderers, rapists, and looters entered Ukrainian cities on February 24, 2022. Maksimovich posted her ridiculous excuses on Instagram, but immediately closed it.
In addition to swearing and insulting the Ukrainian woman in an inadequate state, the Belarusian woman made uncivilized remarks about Milena Melnychuk's appearance, as is her country.
"Disgusting behavior. A disgusting figure, no model appearance, no respect," is how the Belarusian woman described her rival, from whom, for reasons unknown to anyone, she expected a respectful attitude after all the grief that Belarus brought to Ukraine two years ago.
"She turned on the news every day, defiantly, to the whole bus where all the contestants were sitting, with their bombs, and said that her brother had died," said the contestant, who apparently sees nothing tragic in the fighting.
"We are going to high-level international competitions, but you will stay where you are," she said.
By the way, according to the Ukrainian participant, the Russian woman paid €20,000 for her victory at the competition, while Irina Maksimovich paid about €5,000 for her third place.
Returning to the Belarusian woman's words about their paid way to international competitions, we cannot but mention that with the support of Miss World CEO Julia Morley, the high-profile decision was made not to allow Russians to participate in the most prestigious beauty contests.
Maksimovich was happy for Russia, whose people unleashed genocide, and called the Ukrainian woman a provocateur. It is noteworthy that in the video that got online, the Belarusian woman was the only person who shouted, threw herself at the Ukrainian woman, questioned the grief of the war, and mentioned Milena Melnychuk's family members. The aggressive girl was barely stopped by her own friends. They had to pull her away by the arms.
To prevent even more details of the scandalous show from surfacing online, the Belarusian resident desperately called on all witnesses to keep silent about the situation. According to her, this was supposed to save everyone's nerves, but the Belarusian woman herself devoted more than one emotional story to the incident, took a bunch of screenshots with hate speech, and shared a story of her friendship with the Russian woman.
"Let's put it this way: we keep quiet. Let them write, let them spend their energy and time where they are blowing things up. I don't have time to do this. I hope you will support me in this direction. I will not comment on anything. I will not offend anyone, because I am an adult," concluded the Belarusian woman, who had previously insulted Ukraine and its representative. And not just once.
Without realizing it, Irina Maksimovich confirmed that the contest cynically ignored the genocide, and tried to "make friends" with participants from hostile countries, and the Ukrainian woman was treated terribly by both the participants and the organizers every time.
In this situation, Milena Melnychuk had no choice but to tell the world about the war of Ukrainians on her own, playing videos of bombs and ignoring the organizers' intentions to create the illusion of peace at the beauty pageant.
