IDF eliminates one of Hamas leaders - media

Oleh TymchenkoWorld
Hamas has not officially confirmed these reports.

Hamas member Ahmad Bahar was killed in an IDF strike. He held high political positions in the terrorist organization.

This was reported by The Times of Israel, citing Palestinian sources. On Friday, it was reported in Gaza that Israel had eliminated Ahmed Bahar as a result of an IDF air strike earlier this week.

The senior member of the terrorist organization was reportedly wounded in the IDF strike and recently died of his wounds.

However, Hamas has not officially confirmed these reports. Israel also did not report that he was targeted or killed.

Bahar, 76, served as vice president of the Palestinian Legislative Council and was previously deputy speaker of the Palestinian parliament.

In 2012, he gave a speech in which he prayed to Allah to help kill "the Jews and their supporters... [and] the Americans and their supporters... leaving none." This statement was characterized as incitement to genocide.

As a reminder, on November 13, the IDF reported that the Israeli army had occupied the Gaza Strip parliament building. To confirm this, a photo was published with Israeli soldiers inside the Hamas parliament.

The very next day, Israel announced the seizure of the government residence and the Hamas police headquarters in Gaza.

And on November 15, the Israel Defense Forces launched a military operation in the main hospital in the Gaza Strip, where the terrorists' operations center is located.
