The number of expected air defense systems cannot be disclosed yet
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that this winter Ukraine will be protected by new air defense systems that will be provided to Kyiv by Western partners. These are Patriot and NASAMS systems.
However, the number of air defense systems to be delivered cannot be disclosed yet. The head of state made this statement during the final press conference on Tuesday, December 19.
The President noted that this winter has brought new challenges for our country.
"This winter is different, it has challenges, losses, but less. There were several business trips – several new Patriot and NASAMS air defense systems will defend Ukraine, but I cannot say the number," Zelensky said.
