How the war in Israel can change attitudes toward Ukraine: predictions
The escalation of the military conflict between Israel and the right-wing Islamist terrorist group Hamas could have a significant impact on the war in Ukraine in terms of arms aid. After all, this was not a single terrorist attack against Israelis, but a targeted, well-coordinated operation by militants that resulted in dozens of casualties in the first hours after the attack.
According to experts from the Defence Express platform, although Israel has been actively blocking the re-export of its weapons to the Ukrainian army, ammunition from US army depots in Israel has been going to Ukraine. Now this route will be blocked.
"It is predictable that Israel will be against this and will make every effort to ensure that the ammunition it can use for its needs as a reserve remains at its disposal," the analytical material says.
At the same time, the escalation in Israel is unlikely to change the supply from other countries. The IDF has all the necessary means to conduct any sizeable full-fledged military operation in the Gaza Strip. The only thing that could cause the Israeli army to need weapons from international allies is a protracted war, which Jerusalem will avoid, guided by state interests.
To recap. On October 7, the Hamas terrorist organization managed to take Israel by surprise thanks to a carefully prepared military operation. The Palestinian terrorists were able to bypass Israel's vigilant security services and quickly invade a number of communities.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, President Zelenskyy reacted to Hamas's large-scale attacks against Israel. He noted that terror is always a crime not just against one country or its specific victims, but against humanity and the whole world.
At the same time, Iran has defended the terrorist attacks in Israel and supported the military operation against civilians.
