A year ago, on October 5, 2023, the Russian terrorist army launched a missile attack on the village of Hroza in the Kharkiv region. One of many Russian terrorist attacks killed 59 people.

The Russians used an Iskander ballistic missile. This was reported by the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security on Telegram.

The missile attack by Russian troops on the village in the Kupiansk district was one of many war crimes committed by Russia in the war against Ukraine. At the same time, the leadership of the terrorist country tried to cynically deny any involvement in the killing of civilians.

The Center noted that attempts by Russian representatives to deny this crime or falsify the circumstances of the incident demonstrate the Kremlin's cynicism and disregard for international law. It is also emphasized that Russia regularly uses terror to persuade Ukraine to surrender.

"Military assistance to Ukraine is the only way to stop such tragedies from happening again and to protect Ukraine from Russian terror. Ukraine is doing everything possible to ensure that Russia's crimes are recognized by the world and that the perpetrators receive a fair punishment," the statement said.

In turn, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reminded that the Russian missile hit a cafe where a memorial dinner was held for a fallen soldier who was reburied in his native village. The victims of Russian terrorists were 36 women, 22 men and an eight-year-old boy.

"They were ordinary villagers: pensioners, doctors, farmers, teachers, and entrepreneurs. The enemy attack on the small settlement claimed the lives of entire families of local residents, and even several generations. 15 families lost two or more family members," said the RMA head.

By the way, the United Nations made a statement regarding the Russian occupiers' strike on the village of Hroza in Kharkiv region, which killed 59 people. They noted that the Russian Armed Forces intentionally launched a missile at a local cafe.

As a reminder, Russian troops attacked Mykolaiv region on October 4 twice. The daytime artillery shelling hit the Halytsynivka community, and in the evening, the occupiers attacked Mykolaiv.

Earlier, it was reported that the occupation forces continued to terrorize the civilian population of Kharkiv region. The enemy fired at the settlements primarily with guided bombs and FPV drones, killing at least 2 people and injuring another.
