Body of dead child's grandmother found under rubble: number of victims of Russian attack on Kharkiv increases

The number of casualties and injuries from Russia's morning strikes on Kharkiv has increased. As of 12:20 a.m. on Friday, October 6, two victims of the shelling were reported - a child and an elderly woman.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported on Telegram that another body had been found under the rubble of the building. According to him, the second victim of the Russian Armed Forces' crime is a woman born in 1955.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, there are at least 28 wounded, 12 of them are hospitalized. As of 12:30, rescue and search operations continued.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko clarified that the grandmother of the killed 10-year-old boy and the wounded 11-month-old child died.
