The Edelweiss Brigade successfully repelled a massive Russian attack on their positions. The enemy used dozens of vehicles and about 120 occupants during the assault.

The corresponding video was published by the brigade's press service. "Today, on November 2, 2024, our defenders successfully repelled a massive enemy attack on the positions of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade," the statement said.

In particular, the enemy used 22 units of armored vehicles, including 7 tanks, 13 infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs) and 2 MT-LBs, as well as about 120 of its soldiers.

Thanks to the coordinated work of artillery, anti-tank weapons, reconnaissance and drones, Ukrainian defenders detected the enemy's approach in time to stop the assault groups on the outskirts of their positions.

As a result of the battle, 6 tanks and 9 IFVs were destroyed. There were also significant losses in manpower: 19 enemies were killed, 23 wounded, and the rest of the losses are currently being clarified.

At the same time, our defenders did not suffer any losses.

Each soldier of the Edelweiss Brigade demonstrated a high level of professionalism, which was the key to successful defense.

"Each of our soldiers is a true professional! Glory to the Edelweiss! Glory to Ukraine!" the brigade added.

The day before, it became known that in October, Russia lost a record number of equipment and weapons in the war. The record was set for the number of "demilitarized" armoured fighting vehicles of the Russian army: the enemy lost 923 of them in a month. The cost of the destroyed vehicles is at least $500 million. The number of killed and wounded soldiers during this period amounted to 41,980 invaders or more than three motorized rifle divisions.
