The occupation army of Russia on Friday attacked civilians in the Donetsk region of Ukraine on July, 21 once again. The invaders attacked the settlement of New York, launching three air strikes.

This was reported by the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak on his Telegram channel. As a result of the enemy attack, 4 people killed and at least three more injured.

"The Russians launched 3 airstrikes on the settlement of New York in Donetsk region," Yermak wrote.

According to him, a man and three women were wounded as a result of enemy shelling.

Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office telegram channel reported that a pre-trial investigation on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) was issued following the death of four people and wounding of three in the settlement of New York. The occupants preliminary used FAB-250 aerial bombs.

"As a result of the shelling four local residents killed, spouses among them. The remains of their bodies were recovered by rescuers from under the rubble of the destroyed house", Prosecutor's office noted, adding that a woman whose husband had previously died was among the victims.

All the injured of varying severity were taken to a medical facility for qualified assistance.

In addition, the explosive waves damaged residential buildings and outbuildings. The final number of victims of shelling is being established.

According to the head of Donetsk RMA Pavlo Kyrylenko, Russian war criminals killed 6 civilians in Donetsk region on July 21: 4 in New York and 2 in Druzhba. Another 5 people were injured during the day.

It should be noted that Russian occupiers also killed two children on July 21: a brother and a sister in the village of Druzhba in the Toretsk community of Donetsk region. An enemy artillery shell flew into the yard where a 10-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl were.

In the morning of the same day the enemy hit Konstantynivka in Donetsk, killing two civilians. Criminal proceedings have been launched on yet another war crime by the aggressor. Private sector was in the crosshairs of Russian shells.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to another massive attacks of Russia, which led to the death of Ukrainian children. He pointed out that the occupiers are doing absolute evil that will have severe consequences for them.
