"It would have been the greatest shame": Akhmat commander disavows Kadyrov fighters taken prisoner by AFU

Chechnya has admitted that five fighters of the Akhmat-Chechnya regiment were captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region. At the same time, the unit disavowed the captured militants, saying that they were no longer Kadyrov's men.

Apti Alaudinov, the commander of the Akhmat special forces, said this. In the video, he says that three militants were captured, but in the caption he clarified that there were five of them: three shooters and two signalmen.

"A Chechen who is captured is no longer a Kadyrov fighter. There is nothing more shameful for a Chechen than to be captured," Alaudinov said.

He emphasized in every possible way that it was representatives of Akhmat-Chechnya who were captured, while the Akhmat special forces, which he leads, have allegedly avoided such a fate.

We would like to add that earlier, soldiers of the 225th Separate Assault Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published photos of documents of the Chechen occupiers they defeated.

As reported, captured occupier Alexandr Korolev shared how Kadyrov's men fled to escape Ukrainian defenders in the Kursk region. According to him, the occupiers from the Akhmat special forces run away immediately after receiving an order from the Russian command to prevent a breakthrough.
