On May 25, the aggressor country Russia killed 14 civilians in a brutal attack on the Epicenter in Kharkiv. Currently, the emergency response headquarters and a mobile DNA laboratory continue to work at the site of the tragedy as ten bodies remain unidentified.

In the morning of May 26, the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported 11 dead but later the number of victims increased to 14. In addition, rescuers noted that there may still be people under the rubble.

The Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office reported that ten bodies had not yet been identified. As a result of the air strikes on the hypermarket, 43 people were injured.

As a reminder, at about 16:00 on Saturday, war criminals hit a construction hypermarket in Kharkiv with more than 200 people inside with two guided bombs: the building caught fire over an area of 10 thousand square meters.

The occupiers also shelled Central Park and a dense residential area of the city: as a result of the missile attack, the number of victims increased to 25 people, including a 14-year-old boy.

"In total, twelve people have already been killed and 68 civilians wounded as a result of Russian strikes on Kharkiv yesterday," the prosecutor's office said.

Yevhen Vasylenko, a spokesman for the State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv region, and Volodymyr Tymoshko, head of the regional police, added that 17 people may still be trapped under the rubble of the Epicenter in Kharkiv, including a 12-year-old girl. The search and rescue operation at the site of the large-scale Russian terrorist attack continues.

As reported, on May 23, the aggressor country Russia destroyed the Factor-Druk Printing House in Kharkiv with a missile strike. According to the Vivat publishing house, the victims of the attack were five women and two men who worked at the enterprise.
