SKA-Rostov comes under attack on the Crimean Bridge

SKA-Rostov employees, who had come under attack on the Crimean Bridge on a team bus the day before, began to claim that they had not heard the explosions a day after the 'accident'. Prior to that, the Russian club claimed that "there was a bang that broke our windscreen" and that the shell "hit literally 300 metres away".

The videographer of the Rostov club TV, Vladimir Popov, told the propaganda channel Match TV that the passengers saw a flash under the bridge but did not hear the sound of an explosion. After it became clear that one of the spans had collapsed, the bus was travelling in reverse for 15 kilometres.

"We saw a flash from the ground, smoke billowed out, the driver automatically started to slow down, and we slowly got up. We went to look, and there was a hole. We didn't hear the explosion, there was no sound. While we were thinking about what to do, the driver went to the cars that were pressing us from behind and said: "Turn around, there's no room for us to pass." The car that overtook us was lying below. The windscreen of the bus was broken. For 15 km we had to backtrack because the bus could not turn around. We saw special services, military vehicles, and it was immediately clear that there was an emergency," Popov said.

It should be noted that SKA Rostov was returning from a match in Sevastopol, where the team of the same name played its first match in the second league of the Russian championship, which is prohibited by UEFA.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, on the night of 17 July, explosions occurred on the Crimean Bridge, after which traffic on the bridge was stopped. Later, a video of the collapsed span was published. According to our sources, the attack on the Kerch Bridge was a special operation by the SBU and the Ukrainian Navy - the facility was attacked by surface drones.
