Russia will not be allowed to participate in the 2024 Olympics? Propagandists reported an important decision of the IOC

Russia may not be allowed to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games

Russia and Belarus will not be invited to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris on 26 July. Traditionally, the International Olympic Committee will send out letters to the participating countries exactly one year before the start of the main competition of the quadrennial Games, but the aggressors will not be included in this list.

This was reported by the TASS news agency. This decision was made in connection with the sanctions imposed by the IOC on Russian and Belarusian sports due to Russia's military invasion of Ukraine. The IOC will also not send an invitation to the Olympics to the National Olympic Committee of Guatemala, which has been suspended since September 2022.

Earlier, it became known that the IOC was planning to allow Russian athletes to participate in the Games in Paris as refugees. This caused a real hysteria in the aggressor country.

Thus, Olympic champion Mikhail Mamiashvili spoke in favour of "going to Paris in tanks". And former track and field athlete Yuri Borzakovsky explained Russia's suspension from international tournaments by saying "they are afraid of us, we are the best".

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Olympic ice dancing champion and traitor to Ukraine Tatyana Navka has made a nonsense claim that Russia's suspension has hit world sport.
