Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestler Parviz Nasibov has reached the semifinals of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in fantastic style. The 25-year-old athlete achieved this right in the 67 kg category thanks to an unrealistic comeback in a match against Amantur Ismailov from Kyrgyzstan - 7:6.

Our compatriot had an unsuccessful start to the fight, missing two attacks by his opponent, who immediately took a four-point lead. Nasibov managed to respond with two points of his own, but before the break, the Kyrgyz regained a comfortable lead - 6:2.

However, in the second period, there was only one wrestler on the mat. The Ukrainian, having exhausted his opponent, began to push him off the mat and score points every time.

Nasibov completely seized the initiative and brought the fight to victory. The Ukrainian reached the semifinals at the second Olympic Games in a row. Now, Parviz will fight Khasrat Jafarov from Azerbaijan in the battle for the decisive fight.

It should be noted that in the weight category of up to 87 kilograms, Zhan Beleniuk also made a comeback in the quarterfinals and continued to fight for the gold medal at the 2024 Olympics.
