"Animals don't run there yet": Russian Olympic champion complains about "French missiles" and calls for boycott of 2024 Games

Masterkova speaks out against the Olympics

Famous Russian track and field athlete Svetlana Masterkova ridiculously criticized Russian athletes who agreed to compete at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in the so-called neutral status. The accomplice of Vladimir Putin's dictatorial regime repeated all sorts of Kremlin propaganda clichés and also mentioned "French missiles."

Masterkova said this in an interview with the Argumenty i Fakty publication. The two-time Atlanta 96 Olympic champion in the 800 and 1500 meters made incredible nonsense about transgender people, as well as the possible participation of animals in competitions along with humans.

"The current situation is a tragedy for our boys and girls. All this is painful. But! When your brother, father, friend, neighbor went to the front and... French missiles are flying at him, you should think about whether you need to go to Paris. I personally perceive this Olympics as some international, but still questionable competitions. What can we talk about if transgender men compete with girls in modern sports! These "fun starts" are so sad. Only animals don't run there yet, but I think they will come to that someday, too," said Masterkova.

Earlier, Olympic synchronized swimming champion Olga Vasyukova made a crazy statement that Russia would not lose in her sport even to aliens.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Russia will not broadcast the Olympic Games, which will take place from July 26 to August 11 in Paris, for the first time in 40 years.
