The first trailer for the movie "Thunder in the Clear Sky" has been released online. It tells the story of the courage and heroism of Ukrainian pilots, in particular, of a young pilot Rostyslav Nazarenko, nicknamed "Thunder".
The pilot, who saved Ukrainian aviation from destruction in the first minutes of Russia's full-scale invasion, has now become almost a legend and was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine. The first trailer of the documentary dedicated to the defenders of Ukrainian skies was posted on the Telegram channel of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The film was produced by the Ukrainian film company For-Post with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, the General Staff, and the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"We are filming the story from the first days of the Russian-Ukrainian war, and our films will make you hear, see, and feel," says the For-Post team about themselves and their work.

The documentary "Thunder in a Clear Sky" is based on the story of the Hero of Ukraine, deputy commander of the Air Force Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Rostyslav Nazarenko, nicknamed "Thunder".

"In the first days of the full-scale war, Rostyslav was diverting our aircraft from being hit, he literally took off into the sky during missile attacks on the airfield. It was a terrible picture that will always remain in his memory. It was on the shoulders of the young but experienced pilot that an important mission would fall - to gather the pilots and engage the enemy. Now his team is one of the most effective combat units of the attack aircraft," writes the portal "TyKyiv".

During the years of the full-scale war, the pilot of the Su-25 attack aircraft became almost a legend and made a significant contribution to the defense of Ukraine during the fighting.
"Thunder in a Clear Sky" tells the story of his life, combat missions, difficulties, and tragic moments he faced in his service. It is a story about courage and loyalty to the oath, which not only admires but also makes us proud of such people," notes "TyKyiv".
The film was created using archival materials and video recordings of pilots: the filmmakers tried to give the audience the opportunity to feel the danger and responsibility that Ukrainian pilots experience while performing combat missions.
