Zelensky's Visit to Hiroshima for G7 Summit

Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky said that his personal visit to Japan for the summit of the "G7" to solve a number of important issues for our country. His arrival did not come as a surprise to the leaders of the other countries attending the conference, since they had invited him repeatedly.

The politician told about it in his commentary on the national telemarathon UA Razom. At first, the president thought about joining the G7 summit via conference calls, since he has a lot of work to do inside Ukraine.

"However, we understood that it was better to come in person to be effective and achieve our objectives. We found an opportunity to be here and unblock some issues. They are important," Zelenski pointed out.

He added that his decision to come was also influenced by the fact that in addition to the G7 states, representatives of other countries would also take part in the summit. It is important for Ukraine to establish diplomatic ties with them as well.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, journalists published a touching moment of President Zelensky's meeting in Hiroshima with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. The latter almost kissed the Ukrainian leader for joy, because he thought that he would not come.

However, apart from emotional meetings, the Ukrainian guarantor had a number of quite serious talks. Leaders of key partner states promised to steadily increase Ukraine's military capabilities to chase the occupant away from our country's internationally recognized borders.
