"Do we have to listen to this?" OP responds to Indonesia's 'amazing plan' to end war
Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the Presidential Office, said that the so-called peace plan offered to Ukraine by Indonesia plays along with Moscow and actually proposes a fake "referendum 2.0". Kyiv will not agree to surrender disguised as peacekeeping.
Podoliak called Indonesia's proposal "amazing". "Like other similar plans, periodically articulated by various 'friends of the country of Lenin/Dostoevsky', it seems to be a twin of the Russian proposal... to surrender," he wrote on his Twitter page on Saturday, June 3.
The adviser to the head of the OP explained: Ukraine, according to Prabowo Subianto, the Indonesian defence minister, should stop resisting, move 15 km away from the front line "and wait in shame until Russia, together with the 'peacekeepers', holds a fake referendum 2.0". The Russian Federation will be able to establish its right to kill with impunity in the occupied territory at gunpoint.
"And? Are we supposed to listen to this seriously? 465 days of the war for freedom to hear another proposal to 'kneel down'?" asked a representative of the President's Office.
He called the only realistic proposal the complete withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine. "After that - negotiations on the buffer zone, missiles, reparations, etc.", the official wrote.

It should be recalled that Indonesian Defence Minister Prabowo Subianto proposed the following "peace plan" at the Shangri-La Dialogue security forum:
- Immediate cessation of hostilities and shelling on the existing front line;
- creation of a demilitarised zone, withdrawal of troops on each side 15 kilometres from the contact line, deployment of UN peacekeepers;
- organising referendums in the "disputed territories" (as Subianto called the territories of Ukraine occupied by Russian troops) to "objectively establish the opinion of the majority of residents".
Ukraine's Foreign Ministry said that this plan is not suitable for Ukraine, as Russia must get out of Ukrainian territories, and Ukraine must restore its territorial integrity within internationally recognised borders. There can be no alternative scenarios. The ministry called on Indonesia to support the Ukrainian peace formula instead.
