Kuleba believes it is inappropriate to call Russians slaves

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba believes that it is inappropriate to call the residents of the aggressor state of Russia slaves. He noted that even slaves have rebelled, and Russians "obediently listen" to everything that dictator Vladimir Putin imposes on them.

Kuleba's words were quoted by Delfi on Sunday, March 10. At the same time, the Foreign Minister admitted that the situation in Russia could change under the influence of the events of the war that Moscow is waging against Ukraine if the army of our country receives enough weapons.

"Russian society is sometimes called a society of slaves - they obediently listen to everything that their slave master Putin imposes on them. But even slaves rebel. Therefore, I believe that it is inappropriate to call Russian society slaves," Kuleba said.

The minister emphasized that as of today, he does not see any "X" factor for Russians to rise up, take to the streets and try to overthrow Putin's regime. He drew attention to the fact that Russians "swallowed" the death of opposition leader Alexei Navalny.

"But this may change if the situation at the front and inside Russia changes. However, in order for Ukraine to change the situation, we need weapons," Kuleba said.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, earlier Kuleba responded to Pope Francis' call for "white flag" negotiations in Russia's war in Ukraine. The official warned against repeating historical mistakes and reminded that the flag of our country is blue and yellow, and it will not raise any other.
