Which affordable cars are the most reliable

Experts have identified the most reliable cars of 2023 in the study, compiling a corresponding rating. The list was formed based on drivers' satisfaction and the number of breakdowns. We have chosen the most affordable among them.

Carscoops reports on the results of the Consumer Reports study. For each brand, the average reliability score was determined on a scale of up to 100 points. The list also includes expensive brands.

The reliability score of inexpensive cars:

1. Toyota (76);
2. Honda (70);
3. Subaru (69);
4. Mazda (67);
5. Kia (61);
6. Hyundai (56);
7. Nissan (45);
8. Chevrolet (43);
9. Ford (40);
10. VW (26).

The experts also named the most reliable individual models, which owners are satisfied with the most. Once again, we will focus on the low-cost brands.

The most reliable low-cost cars in 2023:

1. Toyota Camry Hybrid (87);
2. Toyota Camry (86);
3. Toyota RAV4 Prime (84);
4. Subaru Forester (82);
5. Toyota RAV4 (80);
6. Toyota Corolla (77).

Obviously, the list is dominated by Toyota models, given their inexpensive price. However, among the premium cars, BMW X5 (82) and Acura RDX (80) were noted for their high reliability.
