If you've ever wanted to escape the difficulties and anxieties of everyday life and spend idyllic days sailing around the world, then cruise travel is for you. There is one route that offers a unique long vacation.

The Royal Caribbean Ultimate Cruise is the longest cruise in the world, lasting 274 days – that's nine months – and covering more than 60 countries. The details were reported by the Express.

The liner embarked on its maiden voyage in December last year.

The journey begins and ends in Miami, Florida. The route offers visits to all continents, 65 countries, more than 150 ports, and 11 wonders of the world.

However, this unique adventure is certainly not cheap. Prices range from $53,999 per person for an inside cabin to $105,839 for a junior suite.

"Our Ultimate World Cruise and four Ultimate Cruise segments are a unique adventure never before offered by Royal Caribbean. Payment for a cruise aboard Serenade of the Seas will be offered exclusively as a non-refundable payment," Royal Caribbean said.

From Miami, the cruise ship goes to South America and Antarctica, and then passes Cape Horn and goes to destinations in Central America, the Mexican Riviera, the West Coast of the United States, Australia, and the South Pacific.

The route also includes ports in Southeast Asia and the Far East before arriving in the Indian Ocean and Africa.

Passengers will visit the Seychelles, Madagascar, South Africa, Namibia, Angola, Ghana, etc.
