For the first time in her career, the athlete competed at the world's main biathlon event
Khrystyna Dmytrenko, a biathlete from Chernihiv, made her debut at the Biathlon World Cup. The 24-year-old native of Chernihiv, who won the 2016 Youth Olympics in Lillehammer and was the 2017/18 Ukrainian mass start champion, took part in the World Cup for the first time as part of the Ukrainian national team.
Before that, she had only competed at the IBU Cup, but even there she attracted the attention of fans with her appearance.
On November 25, Dmytrenko ran in the mixed relay at the 1st stage of the Biathlon World Cup of the 2023/24 season. The coaching staff put Khrystyna in charge of the finisher and she coped with her task perfectly.
The biathlete shot accurately, demonstrated decent speed on the track and managed to lift the team to 8th place.
After the finish, fans on the Internet began to discuss not only Khrystyna's successful performance but also her beauty.
As OBOZ.UA reported earlier, after the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Dmytrenko changed her biathlon rifle to an assault rifle.
