Mimosa is one of the simplest, most budget-friendly and satisfying salads. In the classic version, the dish is prepared with sardine, but it can be replaced with tuna or baked mackerel.

What to add to Mimosa for an original taste

The cook shared a recipe for a delicious Mimosa with tuna and melted cheese on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • potatoes - 3 pcs.
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • chicken eggs - 4 pcs.
  • processed cheese - 100 g
  • tuna in its own juice - 185 g
  • mayonnaise - 75 g
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • dill - 2-3 sprigs

Method of preparation:

1. Boil the vegetables, peel and grate them. Drain the tuna and mash it with a fork.

2. Grate the processed cheese on a coarse grater and spread it evenly over the canned fish. Lubricate the cheese layer with a little mayonnaise.

3. Boil the chicken eggs, grate them, put them on top of the cheese and spread with mayonnaise, grated carrots, mayonnaise, grated yolks on top.

4. Cover the salad with a lid or cling film, refrigerate for 1-2 hours to cool and soak!
