How to marinate champignons deliciously: you can eat in a day
If you're looking for a quick and spicy snack, making pickled champignons is a great solution. You need a minimal amount of ingredients and time. Besides, it's very budget-friendly.
The idea of cooking delicious pickled champignons, which can be eaten in a day, was published on the page of food blogger Olena Diachenko on Instgaram. The mushrooms have a very rich flavor.
Ingredients:
- mushrooms – 1 kg
- water – 1 liter
- cloves – 4 buds
- black pepper – 9 peas
- dill – 1 bunch
- bay leaves – 2 pcs
- garlic – 3 cloves
- bell pepper – 1 pc
- vinegar 70% – 1 tbsp
- salt, sugar – 1 tbsp
Method of preparation:
1. Rinse the mushrooms in several waters. Boil the mushrooms for an hour. Mushrooms shrink by 2-3 times. Therefore, it is not necessary to pour a lot of water.
2. Rinse the boiled mushrooms thoroughly in cold water.
3. Drain in a colander, then transfer to an enamel saucepan with a capacity of at least one and a half liters.
4. Dissolve sugar and salt in a liter of cold water. Put on the fire.
5. As soon as the water begins to boil, remove from heat and add a tablespoon of vinegar.
6. Pour the brine over the mushrooms, add the cloves, peppercorns, bay leaves, a bunch of dill, sliced bell pepper, and garlic.
7. Leave in a cool place to marinate for at least a day.
