How to clean carbon deposits on a ceramic stove: the easiest way
Caring for a glass ceramic hob can seem really complicated because it needs constant, thorough cleaning to keep it working well. The smallest drops quickly stick to the surface, and you can't rub them with abrasives to avoid scratching the hob.
It sounds like a reason not to buy this type of stove. However, don't jump to conclusions until you learn about the cleaning method that OBOZ.UA has found for you. It is easy to perform, fairly quick, and in addition, very effective.
Many experts advise cleaning a glass ceramic hob with a special scraper. But it is not always enough. Especially if stubborn stains have formed on the surface.
One way to remove burnt marks on a glass ceramic hob is to use dishwashing detergent and vinegar in combination. First, pour a little soap on the burnt dirt so that it completely covers it. Then spray a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water on the area. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes, and then wipe off the softened soot with a sponge.
You can also scrub the soapy part of the stove with a scrubber. But strictly follow the instructions for its use to avoid leaving scratches. If necessary, you can repeat the entire procedure.
Another way to remove burnt dirt from glass ceramics is to use the power of baking soda. To do this, start by removing as many traces of carbon deposits as possible with a scraper. After that, make a paste of baking soda and water – it should be well applied to the surface and not spread. Apply this paste to the dirt, cover with a damp cloth, and leave for 30 minutes. After that, remove the cloth and clean the stove from the remaining dirt.
