Glass jars can be called a problematic type of container – they are heavy, fragile, and not as easy to recycle as plastic. However, you don't have to get rid of them right away, as they can be of great use in the kitchen and beyond.

Jars of any size can be a great way to help organize various small items on kitchen tables. At the same time, they can free up space in drawers and cabinets. For example, you can store kitchen utensils such as beautiful spatulas, whisks, and scoops in a jar. Or you can aesthetically arrange napkins or drinking straws in it. The jar itself can be decorated - painted, wrapped in fabric, or covered with twine.

Put a large jar on the table so that you can put such things in it. That way, anyone looking for something lost can easily guess where it might be. If your kitchen table is also used as a place to do homework or an improvised workplace, keep a jar with pens, pencils, and scissors on it, which can be easily put away during meals.
