Crispy homemade kifli: how to make the best dough
Homemade kifli are the best addition to tea. And they are very easy to make, just make a good shortcrust pastry from flour, butter, and sour cream.
The cook shared a recipe for delicious, crispy kifli with condensed milk on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- flour 450 g
- frozen butter 200 g
- 2 egg yolks
- sour cream 20% 200 g
- fine salt
- vanilla
The filling:
- A can of condensed milk
Method of preparation:
1. Sift the flour and rub the butter into the flour on a coarse grater. Next, knead the butter with the flour, add sour cream and vanilla, and then the egg yolks, and knead the dough. Put the finished shortbread dough in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
2. Divide the finished dough into 2 parts and roll out each into a layer and cut into triangles. Next, spread the condensed milk (or any other thick filling). Roll each part into a kifli.
3. Bake in a preheated oven at 190 C for 20-30 minutes.
Sprinkle the finished kifli with powdered sugar!
