The 3rd generation Nissan Leaf, an inexpensive electric car, is being prepared for the premiere. We already know what the new car will look like. The car will have a completely different body and will not look like its predecessor.

The reason is that the new Nissan Leaf for the 2025 model year will become a crossover with a design in the style of the 2021 Nissan Chill-Out concept, from which it will inherit many elements. The model will be inspired by the Ariya crossover, which will share its platform. L'Argus has shown what the new model might look like.

The long-awaited car will be more attractive, practical, and technologically advanced than its predecessor. The company is working on new batteries. They will provide a 30% increase in energy density and offer a higher range.

The new Nissan Leaf will be produced at the company's plant in Sunderland, UK. The next Nissan Qashqai and Juke will be assembled there, which will also receive an electric powertrain.

Earlier it was reported that the new 3rd generation Nissan Leaf has already been seen by American dealers at an internal private presentation. This is a sure sign of the model's upcoming debut, which will take place in the spring of 2025.
