Renault is preparing for the premiere of the long-awaited budget crossover Dacia Bigster for a large family. This inexpensive car will be a large and practical version of the 3rd generation Duster and will be able to accommodate seven people in the cabin.
The car was announced on the company's Instagram. Earlier it was reported that the assembly line for the model is already being set up. The first copies of the Dacia Bigster are expected to be produced by the end of 2024. The crossover should go on sale in 2025, and the premiere is expected in a few days.
Earlier, it was reported that the model will cost about 22,000 euros for the basic version. This is an excellent offer, given the practicality and size of the new model. However, it will be the most expensive Dacia model in history.

The Bigster crossover will reach a length of 4.6 meters. It is about 30 cm longer than the Renault Duster. All to offer seven seats. It is also expected that the body will be made slightly wider for additional interior space.
Duster engines of the 3rd generation:
- 1-liter gasoline turbo (100 hp);
- 1.2-liter gasoline turbo (hybrid, 130 hp);
- 1.6-liter gasoline turbo (hybrid, 140 hp).
Technical specifications are still being kept secret. But, most likely, the powertrains will come from the Duster. Perhaps the weakest 100-horsepower version will be abandoned in the basic version.
