Secondly, this is a one-time project, the car will not go on sale. The fact is that this Kia Pride EV is powered by a 109 hp electric power plant. The range is 193 km.
But the company is preparing a real offensive on the affordable electric car segment. In the coming years, the Korean automaker plans to develop a budget electric car the size of a Kia Picanto city hatchback. It should be very cheap.
The estimated price of the Kia with an electric motor, which will take the place of the base model in the EV lineup, is about 20,000 euros. That is, the company is focused on competing with future new products from Citroen, Renault, and VW.
