The air raid alert lasted more than 12 hours: Kyiv Regional Military Administration reports on the consequences of Russian attack
On the night of October 5-6, Russia once again attacked Kyiv region with kamikaze drones. Air defense forces were operation in the region, and the wreckage of downed enemy targets was found in six districts.
This was announced by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Ruslan Kravchenko, the Kyiv RMA press service reports. Residents of the region were urged not to ignore the air raid alert.
"The enemy does not stop attacking the region with kamikaze drones. The alert lasted more than 12 hours. Air defense forces were actively working in the region. Enemy targets were destroyed. There were no hits to residential or critical infrastructure. There were no casualties as a result of the attack either," Kravchenko said.
According to the head, the wreckage of downed enemy targets was recorded in 6 districts of the region. Operational groups continue their work.
We would like to add that Ukrainian soldiers shot down all the drones that were flying towards Kyiv. The drone attack on Odesa resulted in damage to warehouses and trucks: one man was seriously injured and later hospitalized.
As reported, on the night of October 6, the defense forces destroyed 56 Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones and two missiles over Ukraine. The aggressor country Russia used a total of 91 air attack means against peaceful cities.
