Russia strikes thermal power plant in Ukraine: two units halted operation
In Ukraine, 2 units of thermal power plants were shut down due to enemy shelling. The equipment was seriously damaged as a result of the shelling.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy. "Due to this shutdown of thermal units, as well as a decrease in ambient temperature, a temporary shortage of electricity in the power system is recorded," the statement said.
The Ministry of Energy appealed to consumers to support power engineers - to consume electricity wisely and economically, especially during peak hours.
