How to make a gingerbread ice cream: step-by-step instructions
Gingerbread is a dessert and a symbol of Christmas and New Year's holidays. In recent years, it has become popular in Ukraine to make gingerbread at home on your own, involving children in the process. Everyone can decorate gingerbread exactly as their imagination dictates using icing.
Chef Kateryna Peskova shared her recipe for making icing on Instagram. With this recipe, any pattern on the gingerbread will be successful.
Ingredients:
- Egg white - 45 gr
- Powdered sugar - 225 g
- Lemon juice - ½ tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Beat all ingredients at low speed with a mixer for 10 minutes.
2. The consistency can be adjusted: for thicker icing, add more powder, for thinner icing, add water.
3. If desired, you can divide the finished icing into several parts, and add a coloring agent of the desired color to each part.
4. Put the ice cream in a pastry bag and decorate as desired.
