How to cook pasta perfectly: the chef has revealed the secret
Every year on October 25, World Pasta Day is celebrated. It is one of the most popular main dishes, and there are fans of it in every country.
To make pasta really tasty, it is important not only to choose the right pasta additions, but also to know how to cook them. The taste of the whole dish depends on this seemingly small step. Roberta d'Elia, the lead chef of Pasta Evangelists, told Mirror how to cook pasta to make it perfect.
To prepare pasta, the table surface must be perfectly clean and floured. For the perfect structure of the product, mix the finest flour with semolina. Knead the dough resulting from the addition of all the ingredients for at least 10 minutes. This is when the ingredients will be able to combine and create a solid structure. After kneading the dough, be sure to let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
During this time, it will stabilize and the structure will become even more homogeneous. Pasta is best consumed immediately after cooking. But you can dry it and store it until the next time, although this will slightly change its flavor. You can also keep fresh pasta in the refrigerator for two days in an airtight container.
For long-term storage of pasta that has been cooked at home, you should choose the freezing method. This method is much better than drying, because it is able to preserve the structure and maximum amount of flavor of the product.
