A cook shared a recipe for delicious, crispy pickled onions, which are perfect for meat or fish, on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- 700 g of onions (4 large ones)
- 1 bay leaf for each jar
- 10 pcs of black peppercorns
Marinade: bring to a boil
- 1 cup of water (200 ml)
- 1 tbsp of salt
- 3 tbsp of sugar
- 1 cup of apple cider vinegar
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the onion into rings and put in jars along with pepper and bay leaf.
2. For the marinade, bring water to a boil, add salt, sugar and vinegar.
3. Pour the hot marinade over the onions, close the lids and enjoy!
