"Cherkasy Monkeys" won the regular season match of the Favbet Super League, defeating Kryvbas 78:53 in Lutsk.
"The Monkeys" led the entire game and brought it to a confident victory. Kryvbas managed to reduce the gap several times, but Artem Slipenchuk's team controlled the game throughout the match. The winners were left with a negative aftertaste by Andriy Agafonov's injury, which the leader of the "Monkeys" received in the second half, ending the match early.
Kyrylo Marchenko made a successful debut for Cherkasy, scoring 13 points and 8 rebounds (PER 15) in his first game back in the Superleague.
"The Monkeys won their 10th game in 16 games, while Kryvbas suffered its 14th defeat in a row. In their next match, Mavs will play Zaporizhzhia on January 13, while Kryvbas will face Staryi Lutsk on the same day.
