Pancakes are the best dish for a hearty and tasty breakfast, and they can also be an alternative to bread, pizza, pies, cakes, and buns. To make them fluffy and airy, the batter should be based on kefir.

A cook shared recipe for delicious and fluffy kefir-based pancakes on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 3 tsp of sugar
  • 0.5 tsp of salt
  • 300 ml of kefir
  • 280 g of flour
  • 0.5 tsp of baking soda
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • vanillin
  • 100 ml of oil for frying

Method of preparation:

1. Crack a room temperature egg into a bowl, add sugar (do not add more than 2 tablespoons) and salt, and mix. Pour inpreheated kefir and add flour, baking soda and baking powder. Use vanilla, vanilla sugar, or vanilla extract to taste.

2. You should have a homogeneous, thick batter.

3. Add oil to the frying pan (exactly the amount specified in the recipe - this is important!). The pancakes should be deep-fried.

4. Fry the pancakes until almost ready (80%), then turn over and fry for another minute. Put the finished pancakes on a paper towel and let stand for 2-3 minutes!
