In the village of Yosypovychi (Stryi district, Lviv region), Vasyl Levko, a veteran of Yosypovychi football, organized the first football championship of Ukraine among his fellow villagers, the Department of Youth and Sports of the Lviv Regional State Administration reports. The unique sporting event took place on September 29 at the Arena stadium and was recorded in the Ukrainian Book of Records.

Four teams took part in the F-1 tournament (i.e., "surname teams"), each with players with the same surname: Fedorina, Popadiuk, Yurkiv, and Drozd.

In the match for third place, the F-1 Drozd team defeated the F-1 Fedorina team with a score of 2-1. F-1 Popadiuk became the winner, defeating F-1 Yurkiv in the final with a narrow victory.

"I have high hopes that the football holiday that took place on September 29, 2024, will become unforgettable in the life of every ardent fan and football fan of our region.
