A hearty chicken and mushroom pie for lunch: cooking time – 15 minutes
Puff pastry is a great ingredient for making a hearty lunch. It will take you a maximum of 15 minutes to make it. The result is a delicious chicken and mushroom pie.
The idea of making a hearty puff pastry with chicken and mushrooms was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Polina with the nickname polli cooking. The filling will be very juicy
Ingredients:
- unleavened puff pastry – 500 g (unleavened)
- onion – 1 pc.
- fillet – 400 g
- mushrooms – 200 g
- cream – 50 ml.
- salt, pepper
- a mix of spices for chicken
- cheese – 50-100 g
- egg for greasing and sesame seeds for sprinkling
Method of preparation:
1. Fry the onions and mushrooms, and season with salt and pepper.
2. Fry the chicken fillet until golden brown.
3. Add the chicken spices, onion and mushrooms, and cream.
4. Mix everything well.
5. Put half of the dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet (roll it out a little), and spread the filling, stepping back from the edges.
6. Rub with cheese and cover with a second layer of dough, seal the edges tightly, you can form a pattern or just make cuts.
7. Brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
8. Send to the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15 minutes until golden brown.
