Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the Presidential Office, stressed that Ukraine is ready to resume negotiations with Russia. However, under no circumstances will the possibility of bargaining and concessions on the temporarily occupied territories, including the Crimean peninsula, be considered.

He wrote about this on Twitter. At the same time, a representative of the presidential team noted that such a dialogue with the aggressor state is possible only if the enemy troops withdraw beyond the 1991 administrative borders.

"About the basics. The basis for real negotiations with Russia is the full withdrawal of Russian armed groups beyond the internationally recognised borders of Ukraine of 1991. Including Crimea," Podoliak stressed.

Recall that the deputy head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Sybiga, does not rule out that Kyiv may start negotiations with Russia on the future of Crimea. According to him, this can happen only after the Ukrainian Armed Forces reach the administrative borders of the temporarily occupied peninsula.

"All lands must be returned, no territorial compromises. When we achieve our strategic goals, when we reach the administrative border, for example, we say that a diplomatic page on the return of Crimea may potentially open. But I do not rule out the military way at all," he said.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, President Zelenskyy visited the liberated Chernihiv region and said that Ukraine seeks peace. However, it can only be achieved by defeating Russia on the battlefield.
