How to make a tasty braised cabbage: sharing an original recipe
Braised cabbage is a simple, but very hearty and delicious dish. It can be prepared with meat, ribs, prunes, carrots, mushrooms. To make the cabbage juicy, you can add tomato paste, apples.
Cook Pauline shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious braised cabbage with carrots, onions, which will turn out very soft and juicy.
Ingredients:
- cabbage - 1 pc.
- onion - 1 pc.
- carrot - 1 pc.
- water - 150-200 ml
- salt, pepper - to taste
Preparation method:
1. Slice the cabbage, grate the carrot, cut the onion into half rings.

2. Add vegetable oil to a heated frying pan and fry the onion until soft.

3. Add grated carrots, salt and pepper and fry for another 5 minutes over medium heat.

4. Add the cabbage, stir well and fry a little, then add water and cover, stir occasionally and cook for 15-20 minutes.
