How to replace mayonnaise: the most delicious and safest salad dressing with exotic fruit
Mayonnaise is often called a sauce "from the past" because it was really popular 20-30 years ago. It was used to make almost all salads. But we shouldn't forget that this particular sauce if it's store-bought, is not only unhealthy but also dangerous. Of course, you can make it at home, but it is still better to give preference to light, natural, and, most importantly, safe and tasty sauces made from citrus juice, mustard, and olive oil.
FoodOboz has selected the perfect recipe for a delicious and simple mango salad dressing that you can prepare in just 10 minutes. The recipe was shared on her YouTube channel by Yulia Vysotska, (to watch the video, scroll to the end).
Ingredients:
- mangoes – 2 pcs.
- lime – 3 pcs.
- red chili pepper – 1 pc.
- green chili pepper – 1 pc.
- cilantro – 1 bunch
- ground hot pepper – 1/4 tsp.
- sea salt – a pinch
Method of preparation:
1. Grate the lime zest on a fine grater, and squeeze the juice out of them.
2. Cut the chili pepper into rings, removing the seeds.
3. Cut the mango in half and then cut the flesh into a cage and remove it with a spoon.
4. Add the zest and juice of the limes and chopped pepper to the mango pulp.
5. Add a pinch of salt and hot red pepper.
6. Mix everything thoroughly and refrigerate for one hour.
5. Wash the cilantro and chop very finely.
6. Sprinkle any ready-made salad with cilantro first, and then pour over a delicious dressing.
