Uzbek pilaf: how to prepare this hearty and tasty dish
Pilaf is a dish that almost every housewife knows how to cook. The dish can be prepared in different ways: with meat, without meat, as well as with spices, onions, and garlic. You can also cook pilaf in a frying pan and in the oven.

Ingredients:
- pork - 600 g.
- desire/basmati rice - 200 g
- spices - 2 tsp.
- onion - 1 pc.
- carrot - 1 pc.
- garlic - 1 head
- hot water - 400 ml
- oil
Method of preparation:
1. Dice onion and carrot and fry in a pan.
2. Cut meat and add to the pan. Fry for another 5-10 minutes and add diced carrots. Fry for another 10 minutes over medium heat. Add salt and spices and stir.
3. Rinse rice, put it in a frying pan, stir and cover with hot water.
4. Add garlic clove, cover and cook for another 30-35 minutes until the water evaporates. Do not open the lid until the pilaf is ready.
5. After the water has completely evaporated, remove the garlic clove.
