Tastier than carrots: healthy Korean celery in 10 minutes
Celery is a very healthy, tasty, and flavorful root vegetable that can be added to soups and used to make delicious snacks.
The cook shared a recipe for delicious Korean-style celery with carrots and spices on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- celery root – 1 kg
- carrots – 150-200 g
- vegetable oil – 200 ml
- salt – 1 tbsp
- sugar – 4 tbsp
- vinegar – 5 tbsp
- garlic – 10 cloves.
- hot chili pepper without seeds – to taste (I have 1/3 of a small pepper)
- ground coriander – 1 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the celery root, carrots and garlic. Grate the celery and carrots on a grater or a nozzle on a food processor or meat grinder. Transfer to a bowl. Top with the garlic and finely chopped hot pepper.
2️. Pour oil into a saucepan, add salt, sugar, vinegar and coriander. Bring to a boil.
3️. Pour the vegetables with boiling oil so that the oil passes through the garlic and pepper (this is what gives the flavor), mix well. Cover and refrigerate for a day.
Put the finished celery in clean jars and you're ready to eat!
