Simple beet and green peas salad that is tastier than vinaigrette

You can make this basic salad from beets instead of traditional vinaigrette or "Shuba.". You don't need to lay it out in layers or chop a lot of different ingredients. Everything is as budget-friendly, simple and satisfying as possible.

The idea of cooking an elementary salad with beets and green peas was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yulia Symonchuk (cook_julija_simonchuk). The dish is perfect even for a festive table.

Ingredients:

  • red beets - 1-2 pcs.
  • processed cheese - 2 pcs.
  • canned peas - 150 g
  • garlic - 2-3 cloves
  • salt, pepper - to taste
  • mayonnaise - to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Boil the beets.

2. Dice the beets.

3. Place in a bowl and add the peas.

4. Put the processed cheese in the freezer for a while.

5. Dice the meat.

6. Squeeze the garlic.

7. Season with salt and pepper,

8. Season with mayonnaise and mix.
