Shuba rolls instead of a salad: what to prepare the base with
If you like Shuba salad but want to prepare it in an original way, you can make it in the form of rolls using nori and add redfish instead of herring.
The FoodOboz editorial team shares a recipe for delicious beetroot, vegetable, and redfish rolls instead of Shuba salad.
Ingredients:
- nori - 1 sheet
- beets - 1 pc.
- potatoes - 1 pc.
- carrot - 1 pc.
- redfish or herring - 70 g
- green onions - a bunch
- eggs - 1 pc.
- Dijon mustard
- mayonnaise
Method of preparation:
1. Boil all vegetables and eggs and let them cool.
2. Grate potatoes, beets, carrots, and the egg on a fine grater and season with salt.
3. Cut fish into small cubes.
4. Cover the mat with foil. Put beets on a nori sheet, spread with mayonnaise, then carrots-mayonnaise, potatoes-mayonnaise, and an egg. Add fish and mustard and sprinkle with green onions.
5. Wrap the roll very carefully so that it is completely covered with foil and let it stand in the refrigerator for a while.
