Raspberry jam like jelly: how to prepare it properly
Homemade raspberry jam is the perfect filling for any sweet pastry, and it can also be used to make vitamin tea in winter. It is especially tasty if its consistency resembles jelly as it is very convenient to spread on bread.
The idea of making raspberry jam like jelly was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Myroslava Krutii (miroslavakrutii). You only need three ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 5 cups raspberries
- 1/2 cup of water
- 6 cups of sugar
Method of preparation:
1. Put the raspberries in a bowl, add water and put on fire.
2. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat. Make sure the mass boils well. Do not remove the foam.
3. Pour all the sugar, stirring constantly, and bring to a boil. Boil for a minute.
4. After adding the sugar, the foam disappears as it is involved in the formation of jelly.
5. Pour the jam into sterile jars and lids (it is very liquid).
6. Close the lids. It takes a little time for the mass to thicken.
